I’m shameless, but at least I can use LaTeX. (My renderer of choice is the Wikipedia sandbox.)
EDIT: WordPress isn’t any better with fractions:

Not bad… :)
Though: What environment did you use to do the matrix? “L” and “-V” should not touch… but maybe that’s the fault of the renderer!?
And why box brackets and no parantheses?

Yeah, the L and -V thing bothered me, but I couldn’t find a good way to avoid it. I’m just using the Wikipedia sandbox; if you look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gauss%E2%80%93Jordan_elimination you’ll find some fractions scraping against each other.
I use box brackets for all matrices, in general. Is it a regional thing like slanty integral signs?
